Many of our guests make the most of travelling to Sweden by combining Ice Driver with other activities.

Most popular of all is the traditional hot tub and sauna at the hotel. Situated in the grounds of the hotel on the shore of another frozen lake, spring water is pumped from a hole in the ice and then heated using traditional birch logs. The brave can jump out and roll around in the snow....

The other massively popular attraction is the chance to try a snow mobile. This can be arranged locally with the operator and you can depart from the Ice Driver lake and arrive back at the hotel in true James Bond style

Further afield, there is the ski resort of Are. It's possible to book a few days skiing and travel there by train or hire car.
